Ramesh Kothari
Founder and therapist, LMFT
I see adults one at a time. I have kept a quiet practice of my own for many years, and I have learned to leave it out of the room unless you bring yours in.
In the first session I listen, explain how I work, the limits of confidentiality and the possible risks and benefits of therapy, and we decide together whether to continue. My California license is listed at the foot of every page.
I see
- Adults who keep a daily practice of any kind
- Adults who value quiet and want company in the thinking
- People in a change of work, home or direction
Credentials
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) · CA Lic. # 000000
How I work
I work slowly and I talk less than people expect. I listen for what repeats, and now and then I say what I notice. I do not hand out exercises, and I do not teach meditation. If you keep a practice, it is welcome in the conversation, and it stays yours.
I see adults only, one at a time, in a room in downtown Santa Cruz or by video if you are in California.
